At MARK L HAIR you will find our take on hair colour and styling quite refreshing. We aren’t focused on whats ‘trending’ or whats ‘Right or Wrong’. Technical and service care is at the height of who we are and what we stand for. Every decision made for your colour or style is chosen deliberately and articulated and discussed through our consultation process.
No question or topic about your hair or scalp health is too small or too great, whether it is your first time getting a colour and wanting to understand the process, or you are a seasoned blonde and you’ve never really known what a toner is, you will always be given the chance to understand the full scope of your hair service and how to maintain it at home.
Education is incredibly important to us, not just to give the best advice and care to our clients, but to always be on top of changing techniques, products and science. As such, we are always getting up to date education. Below you can find some key sessions and courses we have undertaken.
- Wella Color Expert Program | an intensive training regime that took me through; the science of hair and scalp, consultation and psychology, in depth look at the science behind the colour and chemicals I work with and a look into placement of colour for more bespoke and personalised results.
- Wella Colour Genius | an introduction into the creative placement of hair colour and suitability.
- Wella Craft Essentials / Highlights / Corrections | a trio of courses that give a scientific foundation to simplify the process of even the most complex of colour work. These courses were prerequesite for the Color Expert Program.
- Monique McMohan | the tik tok famous Sydney Colourist took me through her golden rules for her beautiful seamless colour work which I apply today to achieve my beautiful results
- Sharon Blain final world tour – | a 4 day hands on workshop featuring all things long hair artistry. Including blow-drying, setting, tonging and even hair up
- Ivory Rose Hair VIVIDS / Danger Jones – a one on one hands on course with vivids and rainbow specialist Haley Edwards of Ivory Rose Hair where we mastered placement, colour mixing and consultation for all things rainbow hair!

We are available to craft your hair goals during the following hours:

Thursday: 10am – 8pm
Friday: 10am – 7pm
Saturday: 10am – 2pm
