Finding a hairdresser is a difficult mission. They need to be good at what they do, and you have to be able to connect with them! its more than just the hair, its the bond as well, right?
and then sometimes you find the right hairdresser. They tick all your boxes, and you would do anything to make sure they are the ones who do your hair.
But it’s the salon itself that turns you away!
They are too brightly lit, they have music blasting on full volume. The phone is ringing and ringing, and in some salons they have multiple phones!
you can hear the dryer in their laundry drying towels and every hairdresser is talking to their client, and the client back to the stylist. Some salons use products that are highly fragrant and filled with perfumes that can really overwhelm our sense of smell.
We haven’t even mentioned everyone’s blow dryers yet!

Our suite is adorned by tall ceilings with a floor to roof window that allows the natural light to fill in beautifully.
Soft natural and nude tones feel like a warm hug inside our space.
We love to listen to a 90’s/early 2000’s mix at an appropriate volume, if I do say so myself.
Blow drying is effortless when we are styling with the Dyson supersonic. Our favourite hair tool. powerful, but much quieter than your standard dryer!
Hair care is provided by System Professional. A high quality range designed to tailor your individual hair and scalp needs while being unassuming in their fragrance. We think you will quite enjoy them!

The best part of the experience at MARK L HAIR, is that every service is delivered 1 on 1. This is done purposefully. Not only does it allow us to focus our attention on you to create the most tailored results, but it allows you, as our client to come as yourself and enjoy the experience from start to finish.
Many of our clients like to utilise the time developing to work on life or work admin. Some read a book or listen to audiobooks / podcasts. Some bring their handheld Nintendos or so fourth.
Others use the time after work to have dinner ordered with no interruption.
Don’t think that the focus on keeping MARK L HAIR low sensory means there is any compromise to our colour or techniques.
